Documents You Need to Rent a Car

In order to smoothly rent a car, it's necessary to prepare the documents and go through the verification process before renting a car.

📍Taiwanese citizens：Identification card + driver's license

📍Hong Kong and Macau Tourists (Taiwan Reciprocal Agreement)：
Passport + local driver's license

📍Japanese Tourists (Taiwan Reciprocal Agreement)：
Passport + Japanese Driver's License + Chinese Translation of Japanese Driver's License

📍Other Foreign Tourists：
Passport + International Driver's Permit (IDP) + Local Driver's License

⚠️To rent a car, you must be at least 20 years old and have held a driver's license for more than two years.

Stations all over Taiwan, super close to public transport, and no delivery fee – great value!
(If the location you choose has limited vehicle availability, there might be an extra scheduling fee.)

Important Notices：

⚠️ Charging and Battery Maintenance Fees: User is responsible for charging payment.
Our platform provides vehicles with 85% ± 5% battery charge for rental. When returning, the following battery maintenance fees will apply based on the remaining charge:
1. 0% ~ 5%: NT$ 5000
(including towing fees; please check the battery level to avoid being unable to operate)
2. 6% ~ 20%: NT$ 1000
3. 21% ~ 50%: NT$ 750
4. 51% ~ 80%: NT$ 450
5. 81% ~ 100%: NT$ 0

⚠️ Dispatch Fee：
If you change the return time or location under 12 hours of your scheduled return：
➡️ Dispatch fee of NT$ 500.
If you change the return time or location under 4 hours of your scheduled return：
➡️ Dispatch fee of NT$ 1,000.

＊The change in the pick-up location may have caused the original vehicle to be unavailable, resulting in delivery and dispatch fees.
＊The dispatch fees do not include overtime rental charges.

⚠️ Late Rental Charges：
For returns over 1 hour late：
➡️Every hour late will be charge for 10% of the daily rental fee
(if the delay is between 30 minutes and 1 hour, it will be rounded to 1 hour)
For returns over 6 hours late：
➡️The charge will be the full daily rental rate.
＊The fees will be confirmed when you return the vehicle and will be charged to your card online.
